What is my account number?

This can be found in your online banking, by calling and speaking to a representaive or transferring you to an agent.

Shared branching deposits can take up to two business days to be available in your account.

No there is not.

How do I earn Dividends on my Dividends checking account?

You must be enrolled in eStatements, and receive a $500 minimum direct deposit a month, as well as a minimum of 20 debit card transactions.

Do you offer checking accounts that earn interest?

Is there a minimum balance required for an Associated Healthcare Credit Union checking account?

No, there is not.

Do I qualify for a checking account?

As long as you qualify for membership, you can apply for a checking account.

What is the minimum age to open a checking account?

13 years of age as long as a parent or guardian is joint.

Can I order checks from any company or does it have to be through Associated Healthcare Credit Union?

You can order checks from anywhere.

Do you offer Health Savings Accounts?

No, we do not.

What happens if I deposit a check and it bounces?

If a check you deposit bounces from your account you will be charged an $8 fee and sent documentation in the mail.

I wrote a check and it cleared for a different amount than what I wrote it for. Why?

Likely the bank where the recipient deposited it entered the check for the wrong amount or the amount was read incorrectly when imaged during processing. We can enter a correction through the Federal Reserve to adjust for wrong amount.

Can anyone join Associated Healthcare Credit Union?

Employees, independent contractors, or self employed persons who work regularly in the healthcare industry in the state of Minnesota (counties listed on website).  Also, employees of Allina Hospitals and Clinics, Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, Medica, and employees of Associated Healthcare Credit Union; volunteers,
spouses and blood or adopted relatives of the above and members of their immediate families and households. 

How do I sign in to eBanking?

Assuming you have a profile setup, you can click on online banking on our website and sign in with your login ID and security code. First-time users can click on 'first time user' and put in their member ID and the last four numbers of your social to then set up a new password. If this is not working you can click on forget password or call the main number at 651-383-4000.

How can I view my account balances online?

Go to www.ahcu.org or to our app and sign in with your user ID and security code. Once in online banking, you should see all your accounts on the accounts tab. To see itemized transactions click on the account you want to look at. 

How do I sign up to receive eStatements?

Sign into online banking via our website. On the far right-hand side there is a estatements link. Click on that and follow the prompts until you see a separate tab that opens up with all your estatements.

How do I open an account online?

Go to www.ahcu.org and click on Become a Member in the center of the website. Follow the proces and complete the information it requests. To open a specific account click on the account under the Bank tab and click on Become A Member even if you already are a member. 

Can I make my loan payment online?

Yes. If it is from an AHCU account, sign into online banking on our website or thru the app and click transfer. Transfer the amount from the account to loan. If from another financial, go to our homepage and click on "Make  a Loan Payment" and register if it is the first time or sign in if already have an account registered. 

Can I printout my statement using eBanking?

Yes.  From your home page, click estatements, select member ID.  Click continue, click new monthly statement, pick month you want to print, click printer Icon.

What is an eStatement?

A record of monthly transactions found on the Online Banking platform.

Where is my electronic statement?

From your homepage on the Online Banking platform, under “estatements” link.

What is bill pay?

A service that allows members to pay businesses or individual people via check or electronic transfer.

How do I make credit card payments online?

Click on “transfer money” link.  Select “from” account, Select “To” account.  Indicate “amount” of payment. Click “review”.  Click “Make transfer”.

Can I get a printout of my statement over the Internet?

Yes.  From your home page, click estatements, select member ID.  Click continue, click new monthly statement, pick month you want to print, click printer Icon.

How can I check my account balance?

Sign onto Online Banking.  Click on Favorite account.  Balances should come up if Favorite have been assigned.

How secure is Bill Pay?

Bill Pay is very secure. Only people with your login ID and password can access your Bill Pay. 

Forgot User Name?

Please provide your name and member number and we can look that up for you. Or call 651-383-4000. 

How do I fix eBanking iPad errors?

Try clearing the browsing history and restart the app. Sometimes it helps to delete the app and re-add it. 

How do I sign up for Associated Healthcare Credit Union mBanking?

It is best to enroll on our website before the app. Your login ID will be your member/account number and the PIN will be the last 4 of your SSN.  Your security code will be the same on mobile banking. 

What types of accounts can be viewed with eBanking?

All accounts can be viewed on your online banking. That includes checking, savings, credit cards and loans. 

How can I verify that an eBanking transaction was successful?

By looking at transaction history.

Can I use any computer to access eBanking?

Yes.

Can I mail a check for deposit into my Associated Healthcare Credit Union account?

Yes, we will process checks received by mail.  Please be sure to endorse the back “For Deposit Only at AHCU” and include a deposit slip or instructions for deposit.  Alternately you can use the AHCU mobile app on your phone to submit a Mobile Deposit. Checks submitted using this method should be endorsed “For Mobile Deposit Only at AHCU”.

What is your SWIFT code?

The credit union does not have an associated SWIFT code for receiving wires.  All wires (including those sent from international locations) should be sent using our Fed Routing number 296076385.

• AHCU belongs to the CO-OP™ network which consists of over 5,000 compatible branches which allow our members to complete a variety of basic transactions at other credit unions nationwide on their AHCU member account as if you were at your home branch. What is a Credit Union?

A credit union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members.  The credit union makes decisions with the best interests of our member/owners in mind.  Our not-for-profit status allows us to return our earnings to our member/owners in several ways: higher rates on deposit accounts, lower rates on loans, and fewer and less fees.  Since we are a cooperative, members always have the right to run for our Board of Directors.
