Operations Specialist

Associated Healthcare Credit Union is looking for an Operations Specialist in Woodbury MN.  This full-time position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the accounting and card services systems. Be the primary point of contact for card services such as fraud and dispute processing and managing the card service systems. They will also assist in researching and resolving errors, questions, and or other inquiries regarding member accounts. In addition, this position will perform various support duties related to the accounting and card services functions within the credit union.

Some of the responsibilities of the Operations Specialist include:

1. Responsible for completing daily tasks such as Posting and balancing all electronic transactions: ACH, ATM, Share Draft, Share Draft Returns, Wires, card entries, loan servicing entries, and any adjustments or suspense items.
2. Process and correct all EFT transactions transmitted daily from the Federal Reserve.
3. Process and monitor debit card fraud and disputes.
4. Balance and journalize all necessary transactions with the miscellaneous clearing accounts.
5. Research and resolve member inquiries regarding account statements, disputes, and monetary adjustments, any ATM disputes/discrepancies. Adjust members’ accounts in the event of a customer input error. Communicate the adjustment with the member.
6. Assist month-end processing.
7. Assist with audits and examinations.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Back-office operations and knowledge of accounting systems within the financial industry. 

• Strong communication skills (written, personal, and presentation) along with attention to detail.

• Maintains a high standard of accuracy.  Is thorough, complete, neat, and professional in all documents, system input, and correspondence.
  
  
• Expanded knowledge of Word, Excel, and other computer applications.  Continuous learning while participating in internal and external training and coursework.
