A Mortgage Designed for Today’s Uncertain Market
Looking for a more affordable path to homeownership? AHCU’s Adjustable-Rate Mortgage (ARM) offers rates typically 0.75% to 1.00% lower than comparable fixed-rate mortgages, along with low down payment options and no PMI. Available to all eligible members, it’s quickly becoming one of our most popular home loan solutions.
TriUnity Foundation Grant Applications Open July 1
Life-threatening illness can create overwhelming emotional and financial challenges for individuals and families. AHCU is proud to partner with the TriUnity Foundation, a nonprofit created by the credit union movement to provide hope, healing, and financial relief for people facing serious illness.
The next grant application cycle opens July 1 and runs through September 15. Through this program, eligible individuals can apply for financial assistance to help ease burdens such as medical expenses, daily living costs, transportation, or other essential needs during a difficult season of life.
New this year, AHCU members have access to a dedicated pool of funding, with $12,500 in grants reserved specifically for AHCU members. This creates an additional opportunity for our members and their families to receive meaningful support when they need it most.
The application process is confidential, simple, and designed to be completed in just a few minutes.
Know someone who could benefit? We encourage members, family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to help spread the word. To learn more about eligibility or to apply when the cycle opens July 1, visit the TriUnity Foundation page at ahcu.org or speak with an AHCU team member.

Waypoint Corner: Retirement and Wealth Planning
In retirement, many people start thinking differently about their wealth.
It’s no longer just about managing accounts and cash flow. It’s about family, meaning, and what you want to leave behind.
When it comes to legacy planning, assets are usually the easy part. They’re transferred through documents, account structures, and beneficiary designations. Financial values, however, don’t pass through documentation. They’re shaped over time through conversations, examples, and shared experiences.
Without that context, even a well-built estate plan can leave loved ones without clear direction.
