Budget and Debt Help
Short-Term Solutions
If you’ve just had a rough couple of months and need a break to recover, here are some options to help you through.
Skip a Payment
If you can’t cover the cost of all your bills short-term, this may help. For a minimal fee, AHCU allows you to skip up to three payments over the lifetime of a loan — no questions asked.
Lower Your Interest Rate
If you have credit card debt on other credit cards, consider transferring the balance to a VISA card from AHCU. Our interest rates average 10% below the national average.
Earlier Pay Day
Access your money up to two (2) days earlier by using Direct Deposit for recurring payments into your AHCU checking or savings account.
In Case of Theft
Whether your card has disappeared, or someone appears to be using your card without your permission, learn what to do here.
Long-Term Help
If your struggles are on-going then you may need to discuss other options. Here are some starting points to help you on your way towards a brighter financial future.
Free Wellness Checkup
A financial wellness checkup is a FREE conversation with an AHCU rep to help identify your personal financial goals and how to reach them.

Financial Resource Center

FamilyMeans Counseling
AHCU has partnered with FamilyMeans, a non-profit service that helps families with counseling & therapy, debt & financial management, grief support, and more. FamilyMeans is here to help Minnesotans through difficult times.
Free Credit Report
Consumers can take advantage of a free annual copy of their credit report from the three major credit bureaus — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.
If you are a victim of identity theft, you are entitled to place a fraud alert on your file and to receive copies of your credit report from each of the three credit reporting companies free of charge, regardless whether you have previously ordered your free annual reports.
