Use this calculator to
determine what the value of your savings or certificate account will
be in the future. The calculation uses a standard 365 day
calendar and assumes that dividends are compounded and paid quarterly.
-
Enter the dividend
rate of your savings or certificate account.
-
Enter the term of your
certificate in quarters, or the number of quarters that you will
keep your savings on deposit.
-
Enter either the
current value of your savings/certificate in the Principal box, or
the amount you wish to have at the end of the term in the Future
Value box..
-
Press the Compute
button. If you entered a principal amount, then the calculator
will display the value of your savings at the end of the term you
specified. If you entered a future value, then the calculator will
display the amount you must have on deposit right now.
Use this calculator as
a guideline only. Actual principal amount or future value amount may
vary. Call the credit union for details. |
